Parallel societies – a hot topic in the Swedish debate and almost exclusivley in a negative sence, but could it also be a viable political strategy? With extensive and practical experiences from the inner city of Malmö, rural comunities of Sweden and the Turkish parts of Kurdistan our guests discuss the lessons they learnt; what gains are there to be had, and what challenges have they faced? What can we learn from each other and how can we find communality between ourselves in these different struggles?
This talk was planned as a part of the world wide commemoration of World Kobane day 2020, but could not be held until the 28th of August 2021 due to the Covid-restrictions.
